UNDP Water Governance Facility at SIWI is managed by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) and funded by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Sida).

Seeking Support

The Facility is a demand-driven programme that responds to the growing demands from developing countries for policy and institutional support to address water governance issues linked to livelihood and sustainable development challenges.

The Facility works through existing UNDP organisational frameworks and it is expected that developing country demand is channelled through UNDP and its networks as well as directly to the Facility. The Facility is a complement to already ongoing activities, which also can facilitate the leveraging of additional in-country funding.

The website of the Facility serves as an entry point for information on water governance. The Facility can be contacted for additional information and support.
